The BSN/NUA/LPN Program Support Specialist supports the Nursing Programs (BSN, NUA & LPN) in organizing and coordinating instructional program support services.
The college offers the possibility for alternative work arrangements such as flexplace, remote work, or flextime scheduling upon completion of training and department needs.
Reports to: Assistant to the Executive Dean
Minimum Qualifications
Professional level experience is defined by the Colorado Division of Human Resources: A position that involves the exercise of discretion, analytical skill, judgment, personal accountability, and responsibility for creating, developing, integrating, applying, or sharing an organized body of knowledge. Colorado revised statute (C.R.S. 24-50-135(1) allows colleges to exempt positions from the State Personnel Classified System that are determined to be professional level work.

Essential Functions
Operations Management: Performs and manages administrative functions. Assists with the application process of
BSN, NUA and LPN Programs. Exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion in managing daily department operations. Develop, evaluate and modify office operations to streamline consistency. Determine the logistical needs appropriate for each program; ensure effective internal controls for processing documents and maintaining accountable records. Data collection and analysis, including supervision of quality and completion of data. Work with department chairs to prepare and determine requirements for and maintains records of procurement processes, manages the requisitioning, receipt, use and turn in of department material. Assist in all nursing onboarding including: initial program communication to new hires, managing ID & key requests and monitoring, uploading, and maintaining documentation throughout onboarding process as well as CTE Credential documentation, including consultation with employee and HR.
Faculty Load and Compensation (FLAC): Maintain data accuracy and integrity of faculty and instructor pay within the FLAC system to ensure appropriate work schedules and timely compensation. Develop, maintain and modify processes critical to timely and accurate faculty and instructor compensation. Maintain current knowledge of pay formulas, tier pay, and pay dates. Processes and monitors request for contracts or special contracts. Serve as a resource to educate and train the division on pay processes. Assist the FLAC Team and HRS with solving pay errors.
Budget Support: Budget preparation, reporting, reconciliation, and analysis. Manage departments ordering and track purchasing orders. Maintain current knowledge of Carl Perkins guidelines to accurately account for Perkins budget data and reports. Advocate for grant funding requests and procurement of Perkins equipment, educational supplies, and department travel.
