INTERNAL ANNOUNCEMENT - Applicants must be a current, active Pikes Peak State College employee within the 2024 calendar year, any capacity.

This position assists IT Support Services with IT Asset Management.  Must be able to travel to college campuses to support department needs.  Ability to lift 65 lbs. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • One year of experience with IT inventory management.
  • Working knowledge of asset management inventory software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Two or more years of experience with IT inventory management.
  • Working knowledge of Wisetrack inventory software.
  • Experience in an IT-related industry.
  • Ability to remove hard drives from various makes of computers.

Essential Functions  

Hardware Asset Management

Process receiving, to include physical contact of boxes and pallets, of new electronics.  Tag and engrave new hardware and audiovisual equipment, accurately input into Wisetrack database, and maintain accurate inventory records for items located at all PPCC locations.  Assist with coordination of proper disposals and donations of approved equipment overseen by ITSS.  Determine funding source (General or Perkins) and route through the proper disposal or donation process.
 

Inventory

Perform inventory on all electronics throughout all PPCC Campuses and maintain accurate inventory in the Wisetrack database on an ongoing basis.

 

Additional Projects

Special projects as directed by Asset Management & Software Compliance Coordinator and the Chief Technology Officer.
