Instructional Support is seeking temporary administrative assistant support for academic course scheduling.  

This positions is temporary part-time, not to exceed 28 hours per week, maximum 9-month assignment.   

General Duties

Colorado Online Course Scheduling – Serve are primary point of contact for issues related to building of Colorado Online courses in Banner. This includes adding/canceling courses and entering faculty/instructor assignments. Ensure timely review of the CCCS scheduler’s report for home college and teaching sections and resolves discrepancies.

Classroom Based Course Scheduling - Assist with the data entry components of classroom based course scheduling during the semester schedule production cycle. Position will be aware of rules and definitions of instructional methods, contact hours, and course attributes. Process requests for builds, cancellations and/or modifications. Ensure accuracy in class meeting times and required contact hours.

Administrative Support – Assist the Director in creation and maintenance of spreadsheets and other documentation which serves to track and organize departmental requirements.

Cultural competence and demonstrated evidence, understanding, and commitment to the concepts of diversity, multiculturalism, and their application in the workplace.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.
  • Proficient knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet applications, specifically MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to determine source of error when reviewing records.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed Associate degree.
  • Familiarity with Internet Native Banner (INB).

Must be a State of Colorado resident or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment.  All work must be performed in the State of Colorado.
