Job Description

This position is responsible for providing administrative support in the Business, Technology & Public Service Division. This position provides front desk administrative and technical support to the faculty, staff, students, and visitors of the Faculty Center at Centennial Campus.

The pay rate is $19.16 per hour.  

This position is temporary part-time, not to exceed 28 hours per week, maximum 9-month assignment.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 1:30pm, located at the Centennial Campus Faculty Center.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma, OR GED.
  • Two years of relevant work experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position OR a combination of related education plus relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned totaling two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an office setting serving as the first point of contact.
  • Experience using SharePoint.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Basic clerical duties (record keeping, electronic filing systems, databases, copying materials, distributing mail and other office materials).
  • Front desk management including answering phones, greeting and assisting walk-in students and visitors, scheduling appointments, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Providing general office assistance for all Academic Divisions.
  • Maintaining office supplies inventory and equipment.
  • Prepare correspondence and spreadsheets.
  • Tracking of documents received for various departments
  • Electronic document filing using SharePoint.
  • Assist with the planning and support of Faculty Center events and activities.
  • Additional duties as assigned of a similar nature and level.

  • Clerical duties including data entry, filing, record keeping, and faculty appointment scheduling for the Business, Technology, and Public Service Division.  
  • General office support for the Faculty Center supporting the Academic Divisions.
  • Fostering a climate of equity and belonging through multicultural awareness and responsiveness.
  • Ability to professionally interact with a diverse population of students, staff, and faculty.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and ability to use discretion in decision making processes.
  • Ability to work individually and as a team member to provide excellent customer service.
